December 16th - Ninth Annual Festival of Lights Parade. Old Town, Yucca Valley. 5:30 p.m. Parade route begins at corner of Highway 62 and Fox Trail, proceeds to Acoma, turns around back to Pioneertown Road. Entries will be available for viewing after the parade in front of the Elks Lodge where children may visit Santa Claus and watch a free puppet show from Becky’s Puppets of Palm Springs. Refreshments available. Proceeds from parade entry fees are donated to Morongo Basin Chapter of the American Red Cross. Information: (760)365-6323.
